Our Legal Process
We use one proven process for every case we handle. That includes truck accidents, car and motorcycle crashes, serious injury and wrongful death, medical negligence, elder and nursing home abuse, maritime injury and death, premises liability, and insurance bad faith.
Free, fast intake
We confirm location, deadline, and who is at fault.
Evidence protected
We send hold letters to hospitals, trucking carriers, or facilities.
No fees unless we win
You pay contingency only when we recover.
We start with the basics. What happened, where it happened, who is already calling you, and what medical care you have received. This applies to truck crashes, car accidents, nursing home injuries, malpractice, maritime incidents, and fatal cases.
- Confirm Washington statute of limitations (typically 3 years)
- Check for federal or maritime issues when injury is on the water
- Identify if this is a hospital or nursing home case that needs records now
The fastest way to lose value is to let evidence get deleted. We send preservation or spoliation letters to the trucking company, hospital, nursing home, vessel owner, or property manager.
- Truck and auto: ELD or black box, dashcam, dispatch, maintenance, phone records
- Medical negligence: full chart, orders, medication records, EMR audit trail
- Elder and nursing home: care plan, staffing levels, incident reports, video
- Maritime: vessel log, safety policies, seaworthiness history, witness statements
- Premises: camera footage, cleaning and inspection logs
Good cases often have more than one defendant. We look for everyone who created the risk, ignored maintenance, failed to supervise staff, or hired an unsafe driver.
- Driver, carrier, shipper, broker, repair shop
- Doctor, nurse, hospital, clinic owner, imaging center
- Nursing home facility and corporate parent
- Vessel owner, maritime employer, third-party contractor
This is where we build value. We collect medical records, bills, imaging, expert opinions, and proof of how the injury changed your work and family life.
- Past and future medical treatment
- Lost income and reduced earning capacity
- Pain, suffering, and permanent disability
- In nursing home or med mal cases, proof of neglect, infection, or delayed diagnosis
- In maritime cases, maintenance and cure and unseaworthiness damages
If a loved one was killed in a truck crash, by medical negligence, in a facility, or at sea, we apply Washington’s wrongful death and survival statutes to identify who can recover.
- Identify statutory beneficiaries
- Calculate loss of financial support
- Document loss of care and companionship
- Coordinate with probate when needed
We prepare a written demand that explains liability and every category of damages. For trucking and maritime cases we include federal or Jones Act violations to increase leverage.
- Send demand to all carriers that may have coverage
- Seek policy limits when injuries are catastrophic
- Preserve bad faith issues when an insurer fails to act
If insurers or facility owners refuse to pay fair value we file in Washington court and start discovery. This is where we take depositions of truck drivers, nurses, doctors, corporate reps, or vessel supervisors.
- Compel missing records and staffing data
- Use accident reconstruction or medical experts
- Schedule mediation or arbitration
After settlement or verdict, we make sure medical providers, ERISA plans, Medicaid, Medicare, or maritime maintenance claims get handled so more money goes to you.
- Negotiate hospital and provider liens
- Resolve insurance reimbursements
- Disburse funds to client
